View Full Version : 1954D-1MM-001 A Pair
I found a pair of 54D (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1954&die_id=1954d1mm001&die_state=mds) that are Top 50 RPMs (http://www.lincolncentresource.com/RPMS/TOP50RPMs.html) while searching my wheat collections. This is the kind of RPM I really like since they pretty much attribute themselves. Thanks for looking.

Try it again Viv. I tried to get fancy and rename the pics and the names conflicted with other pics, anyway a long story so I used my unedited pics. Sorry!!

Nice find and also a CPG coin.
Lucky if you get one that has all 3 of the Ds showing. :)

Excellent finds Larry... 2 FS-501 (21.76)... Larry King of Rolls comes thru again... Yours look to be a late Stage B early Stage C compared to VVs http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1954DRPM001.htm This is one of those that gets stronger with age!!!

Yes Jim!
Apparently sometimes die wear works like Nic-A-Date.

This rpm is a paradox. The re-punching to the north gets stronger as the die ages while at the same time the one to the south fades and disappears.
