Hi, stumbled into this forum when looking for information on the S mintmark. I collect Australian pre decimal coinage (I'm a serious nerd:nerd: and researcher)and the mint marks on the Lincoln Cent and our coinage that was minted in SF seem the same. Love the quality of the die information on this forum.

Hi, thanks for the references. Winter finished here (very dry) and this weekend was a heatwave. Will have severe bushfires with all the dry vegetation.

Welcome!

Not many members from your area, you might be the only one with kangaroos in your garden LOL.

I only have a few rabbits here :)

Here it's finally getting below 100 and that's a good thing!

Hope you have some images to share of some of your finds.

Roos come in mobs. For some reason the roo coins are often found with cuds and some are called rabbit ears and others spew roos.

:sign10: Guessing the spew roos are similar to our "spitting eagles" on the reverse of some varieties.

Glad you found us.

I have a sister-in-law in Sydney who collects US Quarters. No doubt she has a tough time so Isend her a handful from time-to -time. Now she is nearly complete.

Great info on this site so hang around with us.
