I finished my 4 boxes of cents for the week. Nothing spectacular wheat-wise but I ended up pulling a 77S Proof, a 1998 WAM (my 54th), and a 2009 DDR 037 (my 3rd)
Here is the 09 DDR since it was the coolest out of the bunch(Sorry for the crap close up. It was taken through my loupe with my iphone zoomed in:

Very nice 2009 DDR furryfrog! That's cool to find a 77S Proof! And your 98 WAM finds are awesome, wow 54! Not bad at all for a 4 brick search, but I can see where you would be a tad disappointed. Do you pass on the minor doubled dies? I know some people who have been searching for quite awhile do. Just wondering.

Very cool finds!! I like your WAM count, still looking for my first.

I only search for a handful of things. I specifically search: 59, 60, 71, 72, 83, 84, 92, 95, 98, 99, 00, and 09's, I'm not too interested in the smaller doubled dies/varieties. Obviously, I pull every wheat cent...but I haven't searched through any of them. That is my goal eventually :)

You'll find one eventually. I am up to 54 1998's, 1-1999, and over 60-2000's.

Thanks for info! Those wheats are going to be fun to go through once you are ready to tackle them!

I've got about $50 F/V that I've pulled since I started searching. It will be quite the task.

Now that is definitely something to look forward to, a mega wheat stash! Looks like a lotta coffee and coppercoins.com is in your future!

Not that one it is from the hand... The one I am talking about is at the junction (where they meet) of the thumb nail and thumb on the top (north side) of the thumb???

I looked at it again through the loupe and I don't see that little nub.

Thanks for the follow up... Yours may be a later die stage and it has worn away or that knub on CCs sample is a gas bubble... Does yours have the chip on Abes shoulder or crack on the log like CCs sample???

I can't make out either the crack or the chip on his shoulder. Also, no crack on his head on the obverse. I compared it to my other same DDR and the thumb is the same but that one does have the other markers. Maybe I'm just missing it due to there being some grime on the coin or maybe it's worn a bit?

Could also be a different DDR... There are several that are really close in appearance!!!

I just looked through coppercoins again. 82 is close but the doubling is not quite in the same place. None of the others are close to what I have. The extra thumb on mine is dead on for 37. Perhaps I'm just not seeing the other markers with my loupe.

Thanks for the follow up... It could also be that the other part was actually a gas bubble... As long as the rest lines up it should be 037... With out the chip it should be an earlier die stage!!!
