Found last night and just now getting around to it :)

I am pretty sure this is coppercoins.com 1995D-1DO-001 impossible for me to capture the light spread but I think the markers are okay.

Thanks for taking a look!

Hard to tell 100% but I think you are correct... I can not see the notching and separation lines but it sure is the closest I have ever seen... The MM location and die dots look spot on as well as the distortion of the west arm of Y in LIBERTY!!!

Nice find Viv!! I have not had any luck with any 95 series coins yet.

Thank you Jim! You know, I found one of these about 3 years ago and Roger and Jason helped me attribute it. I realize now how much being around you guys and this forum has helped me grow because I was a funny shade of green back then for sure! I have lost my loupe so I can't confirm the light spread but I will compare it to my other one and see what I come up with (it's probably still on the forum too)

Well Jon, it's just a matter of time :) Actually some have found the 1995P coppercoins.com Die 1 recently. I have found 2 of them. It is an awesome looking doubled die in my opinion!

Nice.

You inspired me to go through $30 of LCs to pull out the 95's and recheck them -- I had never considered also using die markers, thanks. Still grappling with the difference between MD and actual doubling [mainly when it has to be viewed through a magnifying glass].

Get lots of D's from the 90s so this is one of the few I can actually have a chance at finding.

Great, thank you! Hope you find a nice doubled die in the bunch of 1995's you have!

If you can't find your loupe you will go into LWS (Lincoln Withdraw Syndrome) :LOL_Hair:

You are right Jim, it's driving me crazy! Moved my desk to make room for the tree and I've been looking for days! So much for the possible RPM's I wanted to look at while I'm off work! Oh well, having fun trying to figure out my pile of maybe somethings :)

Thank you Larry J! Nahh you will find it! You know how you see visions of split serif's in your dreams.. LOL the other night I had a dream about the 88 RDV 006. I was explaining to someone about it and didn't realize I was talking out loud but I woke myself up talking!

Whoa, or at least slow it down!! Maybe if you put an 88 under your pillow the good fairy would turn it into a RDV!! It's worth a try.

Okay, finally getting around to this one to confirm with certainty. Found enough to convince me that this one is it! Still looking at the other one (http://www.lincolncentforum.com/forum/showthread.php?32544-1995D-1DO-001&highlight=1995D) referenced in this thread (it is a Die 1 too) will follow up on the other thread once I find the thread.

I will attach full shots to this post once my battery recharges and I change lenses :)

Nice marker pics Viv!!

Thank you Jon for taking a look. It looks like that gouge to the left of the D MM might match Coppercoins example, you know I am not very good with location! Also, the spread on the MM is really tough to see once the Lincoln has been around the block a few times!

Look at those photos... Nice job Vivien... Guess we could say you have dotted the eyes and crossed the Ts :LOL_Hair: Excellent job on the markers... I can see the separation line on the Ds curve... MM placement is spot on :LOL_Hair:

Thank you Jim! Thanks to the Ray System, now I can take better photos to see those hard to see attributes (especially the separation on the MM of this one)! I decided to go back through the ones that were questionable at the time to see for myself for sure one way or another so that is why I have updated some of these older threads.

I like it... Very good job!!!
