Pretty sure this is it. I almost gave up trying to take pics so please understand why one photo is upside down.

Nice one Viv, congrats!! I really like the major offset in LIBERTY, that really stands out. Can't forget the cool footballs too! Very good markers for this one.

Thank you Jon! Yes, the footballs are what first got my attention! This was a fun find, easy to attribute, but very difficult to photograph especially for me since I am not a photographer!

Thank you Larry J! Nice to strike this one off my list, but I have 3 more 2006's I can't figure out. The "I don't know" pile is never ending :)

Hey, the don't know pile will give you something to do on a rainy day!!

True, you have a "don't know" pile too? It's getting so cold here I'm not waiting for the rain. Have a full brick to open but for some reason I have just been in the mood to clean up my desk (and hopefully find my missing loupe while moving all this stuff around)!!!

Piles I've got, a regular size pile of possible DDs and a very large pile of RPMs!! Just not enough rainy bays!! Vivien, it's a natural outcome of this hobby!!

Cool, I thought you probably did have "look at it later" piles! I think you have to be in the right mood/frame of mind to look at something you've already looked at and couldn't figure out. But really, those coins have more potential than most of what is in the next bank roll. It just means we've got some more learning to do! I don't wait for the rain, I just grab a few when I have time to really study them :)

Thank you Ed! I know you had your share of looking at 2006's back in the day! Found your name on coppercoins.com Dies 10 and 12, and there was another photo you sent in for a different die state but now I can't remember which one that was. Geez there were a lot of doubled dies in 2006!!!

Viv, yes there were a bunch.
Once in a while I go through the "look at later" pile and move them to the spend pile to get them out of the way if they're not interesting and a bunch of 2006s were that way. LOL...

Anything like that 015 would have been a keeper for sure, that was a monster on liberty. :)

LOL Ed... I am learning real quick that just about everybody here has a pile called something! Look at later, not sure, rainy day, spend, etc.

I have the feeling that some of my 2006's are headed to the "spend pile" but I like to give it one last shot, just to feel the accomplishment of figuring it out... or not :)

Nice find Vivien... Does yours have the little die crack on the nose as shown on CCs sample http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=2006&die_id=2006p1do015&die_state=mds If not then yours should be a LEDS or EMDS!!!

Still no loupe hey... Not good... You need to tell santa that a box of loupes would be a real good idea for christmas :LOL_Hair: If you have decorated your tree maybe it is hanging there :LOL_Hair:

You must have used your loupe to carve that tiny turkey with the micro wishbone. :)

:sign10: thanks for the fun guys! I found it last night in a box of Lincoln's that are needing to be searched again! My goal for while I had a few days off work is to go through as much of these questionable ones as possible and organize this stuff!
