I want to thank everyone for posting about the 2004 Lincoln cents.
If you hadn't I wouldn't have known to look for this one.
Unfortunately it has some verdi on it and some of the copper plating got scraped off the date.
I believe it may be a Stage A on variety Vista because the die Cracks on the tops of columns 1 2 & 3 are missing. I cannot tell if there is a die crack on Lincoln's forehead over his eye. If it is there it is hard to see.
It was fun to find.
Special thanks to whoever kept mentioning to be on the lookout for that 2004 DDR-001.

Edit: Thanks to Jon for adding the link to the one he found and reminding us this is a DDO as well.
And I need to ask a moderator to help a feller out by editing the different variety listings in the header, as I forgot I wouldn't be able to. Thanks.

Jon, you're images are sooo much more purty than mine. My camera phone is just not consistent.
What has you confused?

Congrats Cliff! That's a nice chunky EPU you've got there! I'm a little confused with your designations tho... maybe Jim can help us out.

Your photos look great and I cannot even imagine what mine would look like taking with my phone! I would like to see what yours ends up being because Jim said mine was the FS-801, which is not the same as the WDDR-001. Mine is actually soaking still, trying to clean up some. I might pull it out this evening and take a look.

I think it's coppercoins 2004P-1DO-003 but not 100% sure because I have to leave for work and that's just my thought at a glance :) Jim will help us out!

Excellent find... The FS-801 is the Cherry Pickers number... CC, VV and Wexler list the FS number as a cross reference... The CC is ref num is 2004P-1DR-001 and 2004P-1DO-001, VVs ref num is 2004 1c DDR-001 (Old Number) 1-R-IV+VIII (New Number)/I do not see a cross reference for the DDO and Wexlers is 2004 1c WDDR-001/2004 1c WDDO-001 and if I am reading the cross references correctly for CC, VV and Wexler the FS number is for the DDR only it is FS-801... Hope that helps a little!!!

That just went right over my head LOL I am sure it would make sense if I had time to dissect it :)

Jim which doubled die does Cliff have? The L in EPU does not look as flat at the bottom to me as CC Die 1. That's just my quick diagnostic review.

Thanks for the reminder because I did this post away from the computer, on my phone from memory
(My wife would ask "what memory?" :LOL_Hair:). The long and short is I was anxious to post this and the ?'s were to remind me to edit the variety numbers which I haven't done yet (may have to be done by a moderator?)

Aye yai yai, I sure caused a mass of confusion in my haste. My apologies to all and promise to do better in the future! I guess I should have just left them blank if I was unsure.

No worries Cliff, we're all here to help each other out! Confusion leads to solutions then when the dust settles, we all learn from it!

It is CCs 001 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=2004&die_id=2004p1do001&die_state=mds 001 has the notches on the SW corners of TY and 003 does not... I think the light reflection is causing you the issues on the rev... Also the pic of EPU is real blurry!!!

I think you are correct on the Stage A/EDS... I noticed that VV does not mention the DDR/DDO combo or which DDO it is with in the header but does have pics of the DDO toward the bottom of the DDR listing http://varietyvista.com/01c%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%203/2004PDDR001%20cent.htm
