This must be about the 10th one I have posted without success. However, I feel much more confident about this BWR find this morning. It has, I believe, all the characteristics listed on the Lincoln Cent Recourse (http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1970Ssmalldate.html) site. Hope I'm right this time!! Thanks for looking.

Congrats!

Great find and extremely difficult to find in circulation.

FYI: I know there are a few ways how to determine a large from small date 1970S but

the best way is just turn the coin upside down. (IMHO!)

The long leg of the seven will always extend way above the O on the large date cent.

* My 2 cents worth (LOL!)

Your Welcome!

Here is your coin turned upside down

Even across from the 7 and O.

No Large Date 1970S will look like this when turned upside down.

Congrats again!

One other way:

I believe I read somewhere that a LD always has a crease in the corner but, a SD does not.

A crease in the corner of what/where?

A crease in the corner of what/where?
I remember that also and he is referring to a crease between the horizontal and vertical bars of the 7.

I am with Chuckster125 on his assessment, that is not an easy find.
