Seems to be early die stage.
Hard to tell if a crack above VDB.
Very cool find!! Venturing into the 60D rpm arena can be very frustrating and addictive!! JK Congrats and good luck!!

Yes, and there are definitely enough of them: The mint must have had some slackers in 1960.
My other 60's groups ['63,'66,'67,'68,'69] didn't fare as well as I'd hoped so the 60d's really came through for me. Will be starting on my '61,'62 and '64 groups soon.

Nice find... Looks to be a late Stage A or early Stage B... Comparing yours with VVs 013 http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1960DRPM013.htm Notice how weak the secondary MM is in Stage A and it is stronger in Stage B but not as strong as Stage C... I also do not see the crack on C12 that shows up in Stage C... This is one of those that the secondary MM gets a little stronger in later dies stages!!!

I do remember that and is why I mentioned it when I noticed it in the stages... Larry has found several 60Ds where the secondary MM gets stronger in later stages!!!

Very cool find, congrats!! I have only had the 60's RPM's drive me a little crazy so far with no luck on identifying any.

I believe BJ also has a list he's been working on for a few years and the other resources mentioned have good ones too. If we make one here I will pull it out to add to the main site.
