Here is a difficult one to find. Picked this severely cleaned 1929-D doubled die on ebay a couple weeks ago. I had been searching for a nice example of this variety for quite some time. Probably 6 months on the windowsill will allow this coin to obtain a much more natural look.

It has obvious doubling still visible on the N in IN and W in WE, while obvious notching is still present on G of GOD and E of WE. Additionally, a few die polishing lines are visible to the outsides of WE. A small die crack is present along the lower right side of O of GOD.

Here's example 2 I found. The auction can be seen here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1929-D-Lincoln-Wheat-Penny-Cent-Nice-Higher-Grade-K-2294-gt-gt-Low-Shipping-/192379753811?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=VTRRuejq91faWjsOHZxK02pdLvc%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc I was able to cherrypick this one because of the mint mark position and slight distortion present on the E of WE and O of GOD visible in the photos.

Excellent pickup -- Now you can check it off your list.

Was the first one advertised as DDO or did you get lucky?

WTG Dan. Love seeing your picks and images.
You really know what to zero in on for each variety.

The first one was also a cherrypick. This was based off distortion of the lettering in GOD and the mint mark position making it possible to be the variety.

Excellent picks Dan... On your first one I do not think that is a crack on the O... It looks more like displaced metal from circ wear???

You have a great Eye and one heck of a picker! Always enjoy the less than seen varieties.

I checked out the second coin for comparison and it didn't have any major abnormalities on the O. You are probably right and it is just on this individual coin as a result of circulation. Thanks for checking out the photos!

Congrats. It's always nice to pull a gem out of a pile that most people would never see.
