Think I got this one right but would appreciate confirmation. Looks like coppercoins.com MDS because of no visible LDS markers and the mint mark looks different. Today I have put several aside I can't figure out so it was nice to run across an easier one :)

Congratulations -- That looks good. Another one in the books.

The angles/location of the MM look on target with the little nipple at the right base [on reverse], too. Looks like the lower left corner of your MM might have gotten dinged.

Hard to see the column crack and the crack at the right base [maybe E/MDS?]. Any pics to compare with VV (http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1961DRPM047.htm)?

*Looks like you and Larry have cranked up the variety machine a notch:) -- Lots of entries.

Thank you TPring, this is one where the RPM really changes appearance from MDS to LDS, that small blob to the left of it gets more defined. But it was the faint die crack at the very bottom of the memorial and the little chip at FG that sealed the deal for me. The die crack in the last column does seem weak and I can barely see the die crack coming off the top cornice at the same side so you may be right EMDS. Haven't checked VV yet.

Thank you Jon! For every one I figure out, there's about 4-5 I put aside so my batting average is not real good at this point :) They are a fun challenge though!

Thank you Jim! Could it be VEDS? I am not seeing the die scratches at Liberty, or from the U UNITED and nothing at the lower left Memorial base. Here are a couple pics

Congrats Viv.
That's a nice looking coin being as old as it is.

Thank you Cliff! I guess this one never made it into an Alabama car cup holder or looked like it was covered in maple syrup from the Waffle House! Every now and then I get lucky :tinysmile_grin_t:
