Not sure about the obverse but the reverse looks like Wexlers Pr WDDR-001. http://doubleddie.com/302101.html

Bob or someone who is way more knowledgeable than me will have to help. After looking, there are several similar listings. I did notice that Bob has a couple of listings that have coupled obverse and reverse Doubled Dies. You may want to look at the markers. Here is the link. http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php

It sure does look like it to me also and with Bobs input I would bet it is... Excellent... CC list MDS only for the DDO http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1955&die_id=1955p1do007p&die_state=mds and DDR http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1955&die_id=1955p1dr002p&die_state=mds VV starts at Stage A for the DDO http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1955PDDO004.htm and DDR http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1955PDDR004.htm Were you able to match a die stage???

I changed the rev FS number to 801 from 108... If for some reason CC and VV are incorrect then I can change it back!!!

I'm still trying to match it.
It can be extra tough with the proofs... The shine, looking thru a slab and of course the fact the dies were not used as much!!!

The coin is bright red. It's hard for me to get a good picture.

Why do you think it is VVs DDR 003 http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1955PDDR003.htm ??? I thought we had it pegged as the proof 004 http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1955PDDO004.htm Now I are all cornfused :LOL_Hair:
