Here's a nice 1927, actually a tripled die obverse in my opinion, with two distinct eyelids to the east of the lower eyelid. In spite of the coins high grade, very few markers are seen on this coin. If I find another copy in the future, I may find some additional markers.

Nice pick Dan... VVs 002 http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1927PDDO002.htm is really close in size, shape and location of the upper portion on yours but VVs looks to have taken a hit in the area of the lower portion and the VV sample is fairly beat up from circulation... I am wondering if VVs 002 could be a match???

Size and location are very close, but I've actually compared the two coins in hand and there is definitively only one eye on the variety vista coin which is more strongly punched. I'm borrowing the DDO-002 coin from it's original finder and will try to get some photos eventually to post here. I actually borrowed it a couple weeks ago to compare to WDDO-002 before receiving the 1927 tripled eyelid in the mail.

Thanks for the follow up Dan... That is awesome you are able to see the original in hand... That can really make a huge difference in the attribution... Looking forward to the images you get!!!
