Not finding a whole lot but ran across this nice RIDB with nice displacement that is listed as RIDB-1c-1987-01. It looks like mine might be a little further along than the listed coin. (http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cen...ior-die-break/).
That's a nice RIDB Jon! I'm wondering if that large portion is an IDB, to me it looks pretty well defined and raised above the hair. Let's see what the others say.

I'm not sure. The listing is under RIDB's and looks spot on other than mine maybe being a later die state.
Actually I do not see a completed (closed) crack to make this an IDB or RIDB... Also yours is cracked to the end of the hair at the east end and the listed RIDB is farther west... Also the southern crack on yours extends to beneath the W of WE and the listed sample ends at the E... The northern crack on yours extends nearly to the south of the Es lower horizontal bar and the listed one ends about mid way between the E an T... I am not sure why the one area appears raised unless it is plating related or the die was getting ready to break loose???
Jim (A.K.A. Elmer Fudd) Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!

So Jim, you don't feel this is a later stage of the listed coin? I do see some slight differences....

No it does not appear to be the same... The cracks on yours do not appear to line up with the cracks on the listed coin... To make sure we can always have JCStevens come take a look... He is the pro on these!!!

He may want to see this one in hand... If this is a RIDB which it could be then it should be a new listing!!!
As always, you are once again correct Jim!! JC got back with me and said it was a new listing. I'm going to get it cleaned up a little, soak for a day or two before sending new pics (the reverse was gunked up). I'll post the link when he lists.
