Not too hard to identify this RPM.

No identifying markers so I'm guessing Stage A.

VV (http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1960DRPM003.htm), CC (http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1960&die_id=1960d1mm003&die_state=eds)

Thanks,

Very nice RPM TPring! Just taking a quick look through and I wonder if it could be Coppercoins 005 - Wexler 010? But you know I am horrible with MM placement!

I had originally originally labeled it 005 but did a quick back track. Eye-balling it, I called it the 003 instead of 005 because of the top cross bar -- It sticks out oh so slightly.

edit: To me, it doesn't look a lot like either. The bottom 'tooth' on mine seems to stick out more and there is no top tooth-- I think you have just created some more work for me in the form of overlays. LOL.

Okay cool, you thought coppercoins 005 also! Well, I hope your overlays are better than mine have been, I've actually gotten worse instead of better!&?

After further review the council has ruled in your favor.

From what I have deduced after comparing images, it is indeed RPM005. Thank you for the challenge I feel much better about labeling them. I should be learning that these images are deceiving unless they are taken under very similar circumstances.

edit: I did find one more of the same variety after posting the first, pics included.

Very nice find... Like Vivien I think it is actually CCs http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1960&die_id=1960d1mm005&die_state=mds VVs 005 http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1960DRPM005.htm Your MM is to far east for 003... Can you match any markers???

Two different coins [coin1, coin2]: Coin1 is quite worn, Coin2 looks quite new.

Coin1 possibly M/LDS, Coin2 definitely LDS -- What are your thoughts?

** Dohhh, just made a long response based off of the RPM003 images on VV and CC [then deleted it] -- It is going to be a long day.:tinysmile_cry_t3:

Your first 2 pics look to be the same coin and are no earlier than VVs Stage F http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1960DRPM005.htm
Both pics show the depression at the right eave and that would be LDS on CCs http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1960&die_id=1960d1mm005&die_state=mds... Your last pic may be VVs Stage D but I can not tell for sure the pic blurred to much when I zoomed in... Since CCs image of the right cornice is MDS and only the small cracks and no chips then your last pic is later than CCs coin a LMDS or ELDS maybe???

Congrats TPring! Very nice to find two of these RPM's while sorting through your RPM's! I think your system of organizing and labeling RPM's to research is working out well!
