Another very handsome Lincoln BWR RPM (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1958&die_id=1958d1mm013&die_state=mds) find. Couldn't find any die markers, but the positioning and descriptions (http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1958DRPM013.htm) seem to match. Thanks for looking.

Nice find... Compared to CCs 013 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1958&die_id=1958d1mm013&die_state=mds and VVs 013 http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1958DRPM013.htm the position and splits look really close however your MM looks to be straight up and down and CCs, VVs looks rotated CW some what??? Not sure tho as yours looks like it could be a EDS/Stage A which the others don't show!!!

Yes I see that also Jim, but could the EDS account for that? Thanks for your perseptive observation!! Larry

I wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference??? Does the split in your lower serif look to be in the same location as 013s??? I can not tell with CCs sample but I can see it on VVs http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1958DRPM013.htm and it doesn't look to match??? The only other close RPM position wise is 009 http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1958&die_id=1958d1mm009&die_state=mds http://varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1958DRPM009.htm but that is a north with no split serifs... Unless yours is new??? Wexlers 58D RPMs aren't listed... Maybe one for Bob to come look at???

Jim, I think the lower splits on mine and CC's both appear to be positioned in the middle of the serifs. Maybe this one will be marked for re-evaluation once Wexler gets his back up if he plans to. Larry

Cool... Thanks for the follow up... I hope Wexler gets his files all updated... It is nice to have more than just one current reference especially for some of these RPMs!!!
