I think this is the one listed on Variety Vista. It looks Lincoln is missing in the columns on the reverse. Thoughts on this one please.
Thanks

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is classic MD around the motto.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. I looked at that coin every way possible and compared it to the one on Variety Vista before I decided to post it. I did have second thoughts, much appreciated.

These use to get me on a regular basis until I realized the flat and misshapen letters can be a good indicator of MD as well.
Hang in there and persevere and you'll find some.

Thank you for the inspiration, I enjoy looking for these. The 1966 and the 1959 are at the top of my list.

The only thing that looked sort of right is the mis-shaped lower U but it does not have the doubling on the verticals, the GOD WE is clearly MD.

Agree with Pete, sorry it's not the big one and hope the next one is it :)

It probably had some clashing or something they tried polishing away, polishing took out most of the statue, made FG thin, almost gave it a floating roof.

Really nice photos! This one always gets me too and I have not found one yet! I think the doubling on the U of Trust would be an easy catch tho... even on a circulated 66. We'll have to just keep diggin' for this one :)

As Viv said, very nice pics!! The "slide" MD always makes me look. It's different from what I consider normal MD and gets me doing a double take occasionally! Keep on digging and you'll come up with a really nice one!!:)

We all get fooled, thats why things must match and not be "almost". Beware this is a bigger problem on the 1966 DDR. A lot are listed on Ebay and they are all MD.

The two big 1966's are at the top of my list as well (birth year and all :)), and I'm sure that's going to be a HUGE task indeed!

Also - to what WaterSport posted above me - absolutely. I even got burned once, the date looked right too.
