Wow! Congrats Mike! That's a great RPM! RPM #1 on Coppercoins (https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1956&die_id=1956d1mm001&die_state=mds) Variety Vista (http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1956DRPM001.htm) and Wexler (http://doubleddie.com/311201.html) sites, it's on The LCR top 50 RPM's list (http://www.lincolncentresource.com/RPMS/TOP50RPMs.html)and in the Cherrypickers' Guide FS-01-1c-022.1 (501).

I have included links above if you would like to check for markers. Look at the left wheat grains on your coin, if you are not seeing any die chips then yours is probably an earlier die state! It looks like the E of Liberty on your coin took a hit (PSD) but do you see anything between the B and the E (looking for a BIE)?

Excellent roll find... Did you check it out yet??? I think along with the listed markers you will need to look closely at the gaps between the primary and secondary MMs... It looks like the gaps between the vertical bars and the east curves enlarges in the later die stages... CCs 001 https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1956&die_id=1956d1mm001&die_state=mds looks close to VVs 001 http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1956DRPM001.htm Stage B... That should give you a start!!!

Great find!

Markers might help get the stage but for the most part, no markers needed to ID the monsters like that since there is no doubt what it is :)
