Recently I saw a post about how finding nice "S" pennies from 68-74 in circulation is difficult. I have to agree, here in New Jersey you rarely find a nice one but this morning I lucked out with six from a CWR. A nice surprise. This is my favorite time of the year to get CWR's because people are cashing in their coins fro Christmas money.

Wow! Very nice group of 1970S's! Tis' the season to be jolly, don't you just love CWR's! Sometimes I get CWR's that are really nothing special, but every now and then you get the ones that you know have been kept out of circulation for a long while! You have definitely run into some good ones :)

Makes me think they must have been in someones coin jar for almost 50 years.

Very nice find indeed!! Yeah, it's extremely seldom I find an S mm of any year that doesn't look like it's been through the wringer. I never thought about the Christmas thing, that makes "cents" though.:)

Nice find, they look to be all large date, but "S" mm's are always nice to find on the east side.

I hope to score some good CWR's in the next few weeks as people cash in coins for Christmas money.
