I seem to have come up with yet another pretty neat find...I'm almost positive this is the 1980-P DDO 1, though due to its wear the doubling isn't that visible in liberty and on the vest. I never had a feeling that I would find one of these, so I'm happy with it not being the best looking example. anyways, here are the photos...

That is a hard one to pull from circulation. In about 10 years I have found two and one was damaged by the counting machine (Scraped) but I still had it encapsulated as it had nice separation lines on the date.
Congrats on a really nice find.

Haent found one yet but I can see the doubling in your LIBERTY just fine!!! I seen some that you could barely see doubling in the date and LIBERTY was just worn!

That is a hard one to find. It is still on my wish list. That one and the 71 P DDO #1.
I'm to the point that I'm sick of looking at 80's, but I do it out of dedication to duty.:|

that sums up my attitude towards all early 80's and 60's coins, but most of the 80's coins are especially sad looking...

Great find and like i always said...."you never know what you are going to get". i have one and it is a very tough coin to find. Great job and keep up the great hunting.
