Sorry Ken, I don't know anything about 1922 Plain's... is the rotation the only deciding factor for Die 3? The rotation looks the same to me. So I'm almost afraid to say it, but is Roger just joking with you? I'm not seeing any sign of a D on the Plain, so it's a Plain not a weak D... right?

I'm not joking,Viv....the remnants of a MM are pretty easy to see

I think you will find rotated reverses on many of the 1922 D cents..very common. With that said, Viv, the Weak D is barely visible on a high grade specimen. So seeing a D on a well worn specimen tells me its not a weak D.

Maybe I'm seeing it... does the top of the vertical of the D start midway between the 9 and the 2? LOL.. dang you have good eyesight!
