I've looked at so many coins today my vision is getting blurry, but I think I found a SD 1982. Am I just seeing thing's?

Yup. That's a small date. They are definitely scarcer in my neck of the woods, but no extra value on that.

Yes, it is really nice condition for an 82 in the wild! Hard to find that nice.

I'm pretty happy with it. I don't know a great deal about this, so I spent a lot of time sorting by decade. Then I looked on LCF and a couple other sources to find out what to look for. Settled on this pursuit. I have a lot to learn!

BTW, It's weight is 3.04g, so I'm assuming it's copper.

Cool, now I found your other 1982 SD! The weight on this copper one is within mint tolerance and I think this one is even more attractive that the other one you posted! It's the 1982D SD Bronze that is the rare one - here are a couple of informative links:
