141070[/ I can't stop looking at this coin it's just intriguing looks like it could be doubling on a reverse under one cent I'm not sure =CONFIG]141071141072141072141073141074

You have a nice clash and I'll see if it is listed on Mad Die Clashes but the doubling you see on the mint mark is also on the date, there is no RPM, it is machine doubling.
LINK (http://www.lincolncentforum.com/machine-doubling-md/) There may also be some Deterioration Doubling going on there.
LINK (http://www.lincolncentforum.com/die-deterioration-doubling-ddd/) On the reverse is more machine doubling.

Alright, I'm back. You have what appears to be a new clash listing!! There is one that is close but definitely the same. Here is the close one.

All I see on the mintmark is Die deterioration doubling. It's a worn out die, as said before.

Is it the same coin?
In the other pics it looks like reflection enhanced the look,
With die wear, it can make doubling towards the rim or a ramp towards the rim then reflection catches the ramp and makes it look more extreme. Changing the light angle might make it look less extreme.

From this thread?

It's not good and very confusing when the OP posts the same coin in different post without letting us know it's been posted, hoping for a different answer. Not good....

Done.

Thank you for your work makes sense I apologize I haven't been able to log in so I was unable to tell you I was aware of the die clash. Thanks to jfines69 a few days ago but I hear what you're saying about the mechanical doubling your right, I'll make a mental note of that.

It's a nice clash, everything else is reflection or reflection on the die wear.

It's perfectly fine for you to add comments to your existing thread on a coin if you would like to add more questions or comments. But, posting the same coin in multiple threads gets confusing for everybody. Hope that helps!

A very nice die clash that is not listed,,, It does not have a RPM or any class of doubling visible in your pics... MD is not a class of doubling but a type of doubling that occurs due to a problem with the presses... I hope that helps a bit... Now on to my next post in this thread!!!

I am assuming that since you are still really new to this hobby and all of the nuances of varieties and errors that you may not have realized that this thread is the 3rd for this exact same coin... Here is the 1st thread http://www.lincolncentforum.com/forum/showthread.php?44977-Found-a-coin-that-may-be-a-new-find&highlight=tcat1113 and the 2nd http://www.lincolncentforum.com/forum/showthread.php?45009-Perhaps-rpm-doubled-die-and-die-Clash-on-the-same-beautiful-1968-s-penny If there was something you did not understand in the previous threads it would have been easier to have stated such at that time... We could have given you better assistance and other experienced collectors most likely would have chimed in... When the same coin is posted in multiple threads with the same questions that will turn off some individuals from making any constructive comments... I shall return later and most likely merge the other threads into this one so as to avoid any future confusion!!!
