This Loomis brick I'm searching is full of 1999P's which is a hefty reminder that I have not found a 99 WAM yet! Dang it! Oh some of these are real beauties... but no WAM.
Just curious if these have become extinct? When was the last time anybody found one?
I found one in 2000, then not another until a few years back. I found 2 then about a month apart. Nothing since.
Wow enamel! So that adds up to 3? That's great!.... except... it is starting to sound like, considering yours and Roller's finds that it has been awhile since one has been found by our LCF family
I always say that if you find one of a variety in a group of OBWs there will almost always be a bunch. My only 99 WAM proved the opposite, I had a group of 99 OBWs and there was a single lone WAM in the bunch. It was around 2000, none recently.

Ed, that is odd to just find one 99 WAM in that bunch of 99 OBW's! Congrats for finding the lone WAM! So, that was in 2000! Geez... it's time for some more to show up!
I have found two of them, but it has been about 13 years since I found the last one. I am leaving all of them out there for you folks to find, but if you continue to miss them all, I will have to find them all on my own.

Thank you Bob for leaving us some! Guess we better get busy! That's why I look at the ugly ones under the scope that I can't see the date in hand... just might be an ugly 99 WAM - better than no WAM at all!
The two I found are anything but nice looking, but the very fact that they are Wide AMs make them beautiful in my eyes.
Absolutely Bob! Since day one I've always looked at the "ugly" cents because I've always thought... this may be the "rare one" that has been hiding from someone else! As long as I can see the date, I'm on the hunt looking for the variety!
