No die markers found on CC (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1972&die_id=1972d1mm001&die_state=eds) or VV (http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1972DRPM001.htm) but it was an easy one to spot and attribute. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I reckon so if your name is LKOR! I'm just kidding with you Larry J, it is a great looking RPM... but I think your RPM posts now need a disclaimer.

Disclaimer: Even though "joel" makes finding RPM's look very easy... it is not. Please note that "joel" looks at several hundred Lincoln cents in a day's time and he has been studying RPM's for years. He has said before that luck has a lot to do with it, and good luck definitely helps, but most of us are not that lucky!

Go get em' tiger!

Nice find LKOR... I didn't even realize 72D had RPMs... CC has 10 (http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php)listed VV has 8 (http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/RPMs%201972D.htm)... I think yours is actually CC (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1972&die_id=1972d1mm005&die_state=mds) VV (http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1972DRPM005.htm) 005??? On your obv it looks like you have the MDDO (formerly MDD) and that is not on 001 (http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1972DRPM001.htm) according to VV (http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%202/1972DRPM001.htm)... It looks like you also have the die gouge in the S of TRUST??? Yours may be an unlisted die stage but I can not tell for sure??? You will need to check the markers on the rev off the west end of the memorial base... The MM locations on 001 and 005 are nearly the same but I think 001 is slightly farther east???
