1917 Doubled Die Obverse (FS-101) Anniversary Pick!

Hi All,

The night before my wife and I were to leave for our wedding anniversary an auction ended on eBay which I put in a hefty bid expecting others to see the unattributed 1917 DDO. To my surprise I picked up this example for a meager $23.88, including shipping. A very high grade example for those that have successfully picked this variety as most of the doubled dies range between good to fine. To my eyes this falls somewhere between extra fine to about uncirculated, I will update once I get enough coins to submit for professional grading. The doubling is very strong and this is only the second example that I have successfully picked. Happy hunting, and thanks for stopping by!
