    1906 Indian head ?

I found this treasure hunting yesterday. Valuable?
also I have drawn red arrows to what looks like the
letter Y? There is also what appears to be the letter G
before that and right after at the bottom of the shield. I could be wrong
thats for sure. 😆 anyways your thoughts? Thank you41E16210-7F21-4D00-B5B0-3B655EF869DE.jpg62543C8A-EE28-4452-B99B-C8B31F17F2DC.jpg62543C8A-EE28-4452-B99B-C8B31F17F2DC.jpg

First, you need to ask yourself why and how a "y" might be on your coin. Unless your coin went into the future, and then somehow by another virtual impossibility received an isolated Y from a Lincoln die, then you can conclude it is damage and pareidolia.

It's still worth 50 cents as a random IHC.

I'm wondering if the slightly off center look might be because the of damage like the rims might have been flattened a bit.
It looks like the obv-rev are off in the opposite direction (not like being off center) and neither side is aligned right (like a MAD) so I'm thinking flattened. Maybe from the same thing that made some marks on the rim. Slight possibility it was once encased but I don't see a clear line from it.

Thank you to all of you!! I have a bout 20 to 30 more coins that I found treasure hunting with my metal detector. They were all nicely tied up in a square of cloth under a tree on what used to be a ranch. Anyways all coins are older ones. Nothing new than 69. I will be post some of them. And keep in mind they are all for sale
