The only die marker I can see is a very light die crack on the right wheat to rim so probably EDS.

NICE Larry!! You don't need a marker for that one in my opinion! Man, that "L" on LIBERTY looks really thick on the vertical, just saying...

Very impressive RPM Larry J., Congrats! This is one of those RPM's that starts out strong and get weaker. Nice for you to find an early die state!

Nice find Larry... Going by VVs Stage A (http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/1953DRPM004.htm) I think the attribution of EDS is on the late side... Yours should be a VEDS??? With no apparent cracks on the obv yours is definitely not CCs MDS (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1953&die_id=1953d1mm004&die_state=mds) it may be VVs EDS except your rev die is different... Compare the die crack on yours with VVs - draw a straight line across the bottom of the letters TES of STATES from west to east - On the east set of seeds on the stalk notice how your crack is at the top of the 1st seed south of that line - now notice on VVs Stage A image the crack is at the top of the 2nd seed south of that line... That makes your rev die the 1st of 3 known for this RPM... The die with the crack at the 2nd seed was changed out after Stage C on VVs samples... Hope that helps a bit!!!
