I see HA has this 1988p FS101 MS66 (https://coins.ha.com/itm/errors/1988-1c-doubled-die-obverse-fs-101-ms66-red-pcgs-the-die-doubling-is-most-obvious-on-lincoln-s-ear-with-the-lobe-duplic/a/60156-91072.s?ic4=ListView-Thumbnail-071515) LMC . (It was recently found in Alabama in a bank wrapped roll!)
Currently at $725.00 ($870 w/BP) with 3 days to go. I expect it will at least double by the end.

Any other guesses where it will end up?

Th first one sold for 3K in a private transaction. Lesser grade though? I don't think it will exceed that amount.

Easy $3000 and it will end up in Del Roy Hansens register set.

Then we each need to place a bid to "watch" it since we won't have to worry about actually winning.:tinysmile_twink_t:

That's nice one!

Anyone know about roughly how many have been found across the TPGs?

Yes, I thought it was only 2-3. I'm surprised someone found one that nice. What luck! There's gotta be more out there to find.

The prices in this hobby always amaze me. I always think some things are way overpriced like newly FS listed things that might not even be very rare and even the 92 P/D CAMs and the 88 RDVs which have a lot more examples known and really are not as interesting as this. Then thinking about the prices those things get compared to this coin, I think this sort of sold too cheap. It's an FS listed fairly major DDO, high grade only 3 known. Somehow it seems like it should have gone for a lot more.

Hmmm??? :)
