This contest is for all members. Name the RPM I have pictured and I will send you the RPM along with a BU 1970-S RPM-001.
It wont be the 70S pictured but I have MANY BU examples of this RPM
The only clue is the partial numbers showing for MM placement. Just from the picture, I know where to start. Yep, there's a lot of them...lol
I would say its a nice AU brown RPM

RULES:
2 picks per day
If your going to comment, do it with your pick so its not crowded with comments for no reason
No experts. You know who you are.
GOOD LUCK!

60-D RPM#5 is farther West. This one is RPM#6.
You can give them both to Wheatie since he/she chimed in first.

This is my second guess, I actually thought the same as Eric but we'll go VV's 1963D 001.

I was with Wheatie. It looked to me the 63D was too far north.

Thanks for doing this Jason! Congrats to Jon. It's a great way for people to practice their attribution skills.

In regards to the 1960... It's important for those guessing to do this systematically. Identification of the mint mark style is the first thing that should be considered when date is unknown. This mint mark (MMS-007) is substantially different from a 1960-D mint mark (MMS-006). Hopefully Jason adds some difficulty as we go on by only showing the mint mark relationship to the 9, and eventually not showing mint mark relationship at all! There are listings where you don't get that information from the information online, so we have to stay sharp on our ability to attribute correctly! Maybe he'll even do an "Experts" contest for Will and others interested in guessing.

Yup, people don't notice the D MM variations as much as the S. You know my favorite game is "guess the date." I have had a couple of such contests in the past.
