Nice. Looks stable.

A)is that black flexible thing to the left a holder for a cell phone for full coin shots?
B)do you know if they come any taller?

EDIT:
Also,
C)at maximum height, how far is the bottom of the plastic lens protector above the metal base? (Looks like it might be +-5"?)
D)when you take your closeups, how far is the bottom of the clear plastic protector above the base?
(OMG, so many questions? I'm reminding myself of a 5 year old. :LOL_Hair:)

The black flexible stand is what originally came with the scope.

I believe there is only one size.

In the picture it is a max height with the scope raised up in the holder as high as it can go. I can get full coin shots of a US quarter this way.

I will take some example pics of Lincolns at different heights and post them here.

This is how the scope comes in the box. It didn't take long for me to break that ring clip that holds the scope to the stand. It's sturdy enough, I was just stretching it beyond what it was made for. It also was not high enough for full coins shots of anything larger than a Lincoln Cent.

Thanks Josh for taking the time to post these images.

I was trying to think of a way to image the obv and rev at the same time. Looks like it might take two setups to accomplish this.

I have been using this same scope for a while. Just the stand is new. It does pretty good for a $40 scope. this stand will just make it sooooooo much easier to adjust. I hope to be able to upgrade to one of your set ups someday!

Ray - Would your system 400 set up be sufficient for RPMs and BIEs?

PM sent. Better to talk about system details offline.

Here are some random photos I've taken with my current set up. These are with the flexible stand that came with the scope.

I fixed the images of the scope set-up.
