Finally found a nice RPM-001. Been looking for this one for some time now. Doesnt seem to show up very often and when it does, its XF at best. Got it for a good deal and crossed of one on my list

That's nice! So, are they from two totally different punches? There almost looks to be different sizes.

Yeah, looks like it, but according to VV there was just one MM style (MMS-003) for 1950. Looks worth some study.
