1984 D maybe a DDO?

Need good pair of eyes on this 1984 D. must have taken over a 100 photo shots of this one, so much distortion I could not get a good image. CC-1MM-005 looks close because of LIB notches of LIBERTY, I'm not sure. Please take a look awaiting your thoughts.................dinkyblue

It does look like there is some distortion to the date but can't tell for sure. There is enough die deterioration and glare in the pics to hide anything that may be there.

Thank you for responding Jon, there is some distortion and die ware, if it weren't for the notches on LIBE of LIBERTY I wouldn't have even posted it. Maybe someone has some more information or has one like this. Thank you for having a look............Dan

I have a feeling what your seeing as notches is actually a combination of lighting and die deterioration doubling.

You could be right, there's not enough proof to call it DDO, CC - 1MM 005 has a picture of LIBERTY that looked close to me. It's just one penny out of many. Thank you for your input.................Dan
