This one is a bit unusual and I just acquired it for my collection in a raw state.
No Date Lincoln Cent which has been Struck Off-Center and received a Partial Brockage by Struck Fragment.
A piece of Struck scrap landed on top of the Struck Portion of the MAJOR OFF-Center Obverse and left it's partial impression on that portion of the the Off-Center.
What are the odds of this happening and not landing on the unstruck portion of the error coin?
The toning on the coin is natural. I soaked the coin in Goo Gone for 15 minutes which produced the underlying natural color.
