    1944-D RPM help

Yes, I need RPM help. Cant seem to find a match. Picked this one thinking it was a different RPM or chancing it was, and it ended up being an RPM anyway. Similar to a few but no matches to what I see.

I went through the motions, even though I knew it wasn't necessary. Very nice find! Sending it in to Doc? If I didn't know any better, I would think maybe even a minor DDO.

Im guessing its probably new. Theres one on CC thats close that Bob has but no markers match. Maybe an earlier die? Either way its a decent RPM and I like the patina on it

That is more than a minor DDO! Strong splits on the serifs of both "4's", and extra width on the lower 9. RPM is pretty good as well.

The doubling on the date is the Master Die doubling for the date.

Aha, I guess I've never seen it very clearly on an EDS coin. It generally appears more mushy.
