1970S - Small Date ?

I found this possible 70S small date (http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1970Ssmalldate.html) in the same brick that I found the 1997P-1DO-001.

As a heads up. I have only found these in cello mint sets. Never in circulated rolls.

Your LIBERTY is too clear to be a small date. It's not weak and "mushy".
The only one I found was in a collectors roll and the weak LIBERTY was the first thing I noticed.

Are you talking about the DDO-001, RPM-001 or the small date or all three?

Proofs aren’t released for circulation either, but you can find them in bank rolls. They can all be found in bank rolls. You never know what you’ll find.

Anything is possible in this regard but show me one that was found in a bank roll.

How about you search the forum for yourself. Search all of them. You think every small date posted is BU out of the mint set? Or every one thats well circulated was found like that in the mint set? No, they end up in circulation and people find them. You think nobody ever found a small date in a roll because you haven’t? What else cant happen because you havent done it? Do tell

Found my first in pocket change....about 50 years ago....but I'm with Jason.....lots of coins are taken to the bank when someone passes because to many, it's just change

I'm glad you did not search the forum. You might have found one or two posts of mine. Like I said, anything is possible.

Why would I search? Ive seen plenty of circulated small dates. They dont come from a mint set circulated like that.
