1982 Ddr?

OK, someone go ahead and burst my bubble...It happens every time I think I find something...

This as good as I can get with my scanner...Heavy doubling at the S and then more slight in "America".
I just looked at it again and I have a little in "united" although hard to see but it appears to start around the "n" and is on the right just like on "states".

On the bottom now, I see a little on the "nt". I may try to upload some more photos, but the scanner is not as good as I'd like and it only really shows the obvious.

I think that's Die Rot (Deterioration)

After going 0 for 2, I found some articles online to help me better understand what the difference is between the Mech Doubling and DDs. Hopefully, I'll be able to figured it out on my own or at least not get too excited when I post...
