I couldn't take it anymore so I opened my mint sets. I thought I had found a new combo but after closer inspection I believe it is CDDR-003. Sorry, I just got a little excited after seeing the thickness in the date.:smile:

Nice and my 5 new sets I just got are still sealed up. Glad I am at work so I don't get into them.

The obverse does look like a DDO; the added thickness in the digits is the tell-tail sign. The reverse is also a DDR and I do not know if it matches any of the previously recorded DDR's.
I am sure that Bob P. Billy, John W. or James W. will chime in on this one and want to see one.

Billy should have pics of the CDDR-003 I sent him to check out. I hope it becomes the new CDDO-003/CDDR-003. Now that would be cool, since I have like a whole boatload of them.

There's already a CDDO-003, it would have to be CDDO-004 - but it looks too minor to list and I'm sure (if it is there) Billy already saw it.

I made an attribution mistake but so far every coin I've pulled out of the roll has been a ddr.:tinysmile_hmm_t: There's a silver lining to everything.....I guess.

Hey Folks, from what I've been seeing and there's been ALOT of mass confusion between Die #3 and Die #5. I have the coin shown above, This does not look like CDDR-003/ 3-R-VIII to me, the coin more resembles CDDR-005/5-R-VIII/W011. Does anyone else see that?
The images illustrated in the first post is my CDDR-003.

edited to add: Yes, the obverse is a DDO. However, it was just a little too minor for listing in my files.

OK Billy, gotta be the lighting then. these two are hard to conferm between the 3 variety sites, ( DVN / Wexler / Variety Vista ). The pics make it Tough!
