View Full Version : Memeber for 4 months & this is my first post!

Hi Everyone,

I've been a memebr of LCR for about 4 months now but this is my first post. I've learned a lot the last couple of months by seeing what others have posted, and I look forward to learning and seeing lots more.

I have collected coins off and on since I was like 8 y/o (I'm now 27), but I have really become serious about collecting high grade coins and roll searching over the past 2-3 years. I mostly collect raw Lincoln cents and rolls. Hopefully, once I finish my Ph.D. that I'm currently working on, I'll have more time and money (hopefully) to devote to this great hobby.

This is an awesome forum and I'm grateful to be a member!

Hi everyone,

Thank you for kindly welcoming me to the forum. In the future I'll try not to let 4 months pass between posts!

As soon as I get a decent camera setup, I will definetly share any finds I make (I already have a lot)!

And JonMN34, you asked what my favorite roll is....well, honestly I'm not sure if I really have one. Even though I've only been collecting OBW rolls for a short time I have a most dates in the 1990s, 2000s, and 1960s. The oldest I have is a 1952D roll. I think I kind of go in phases. For a little while I was really into 1951D and 1953D rolls. Now I am really into 1956D rolls. I guess the 1950s rolls would be my favorite(s).
