I have two silver-ish plated cents in flips. I may just throw them away.

I've got a bottle of it. Had it for years. I used to play with it all the time. Not as dangerous as you think.

I also have a few silverish cents. Should I assume they are Mercury? What else could they be plated with?

They are most likely silver.
