1996-D With Lathe Marks

Found another 1996-D Lincoln with the the prevalent Lathe Marks on the Obverse.

This one has a few nicks and dings.

Is that two or three for you now Joe?

Joe: as you have found several, have you been able to determine if they are from the same die or different ones? I think Chuck found three 96Ds from different dies a while back - somehow I suspect there might be more...

I never have taken the time to look to see if they are different dies. I will put that on my list for things to do since it is not too large yet. :tinysmile_classes_t Thanks for the comments.

Well it's been a couple months since I lost my internet connection but I have since re-gained employment and am now back in business. During my down time I found a 1996 D with lathe rings (I know the pics aren't so great) but I also found a 2008 D Nickel with lathe rings on the reverse. Has anyone else found lathe rings on other denominations? Mine run through the monticello building and the word monticello. Now that I'm back to work, I'll be upgrading my scope and camera so better pics to come in the near future.

P.S. - I've missed talking with everyone and unfortunately I don't get alot of time home on the computer. Good to see everyone is still going strong with the Lincolns!
