Hello, this is Ben from K-Town. I don't know why I did not find this site sooner - looks like a lot of guys I know are on here.
Anyway hello.
I'm a Lincoln Cent specialist and have been now for about 15 years.
I also own and operate The Knoxville Coin Show each month, one of the longest running monthly showin the country for over 27 years.
I search for (and sometimes even find) Lincoln Cents die varieties most every day. Generally I search 7500 circ. cents each week and often BU bank boxes, (I have one 2009-P second issue and one 1995-P box I'm lookin at right now). Also before you ask, no I do not think there is going to be any in the 95-P box, I'm almost through it 20 rolls to go.
I have submitted many new dies to files such as Potter, Wexler, Bordner, Crawford and also know these and others by phone and email.
My biggest finds have been all 1970, 71 -Proof DDO's, multibles of 1964-P DDR, 1959-P DDO, 2006-P DDO, 1980-P DDO, 1995-D DDO and literally thousands of new and new stages of RPM's much to numerous to mention.
The coins I am "hot" after right are 1999 wide AM, both 1992 close AM's, 1982 DDR, 1985 thru 1989-D RPM's, and of course let's not forget the 1958-P, the 1969-S and 1970-S DDO's - well somebodies got to find them right?
Enough of that, I look forward to being on here and getting to know you'all - "knowledge and work are the key's" and like the man said, "today may be the day"!
