Hi all. Is there anything going on with these two cents? Or just some well placed die scratches.

Thanks for looking, Mike

The 1995-D has been listed by John Wexler as a doubled die, I believe. The other may be a well placed gouge or it could be part of a tilted doubled die (extra column).

The '98D looks more like a gouge than anything else. Nice find on the '95D!

Wow. Thanks guys. I found the 1995 D in my pocket change today. I was just taking a closer look and noticed another spot above and to the right of the main bar where there is also some doubling. It looks to be running in the same direction. You can see it in the photo.

On the 1998, were you calling attention to the columns on either side of Abe, Look
to be doubling? If so, that is meant to give the perception of depth to the inside of
the building. I'm thinking in the actural memorial there are columns behind those two
columns and the designer wants to point that out. (?) Ya'think?
