Tough to say for sure because it is circulated, but I would guess yes.

If it is, it is not listed. I would say "no", thinking it more a die scratch than anything else.

I don't know but would lean towards it being a die crack. :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

Eric,

Ok I've waited long enough and can't hold back any longer....

Yes. It is a 1915-D WRPM-003. And it is indeed listed. In the NCADD files.

Have been updating my Master Listings by going through back issues of our Bi-Monthly newsletter. Anyway for reference, it is pictured on the front page of the The Hub Volume 8 Number 2 and also listed on page #10 of that same Vol.

Think I own a 1915-D WRPM-003 .. but being a borderline G... will not fret but just keep on looking.

I would recommend NCADD membership for LC Variety collectors. One of the advantages of membership is being able to have updated info.

Eric,

There has been some discussion about that coin... Has it been determined yet that the Reverse is indeed a Doubled Die?

Also conservatively, what was your coin's grade? And more importantly...do you have some others you can part with?

There is also a 1915-D WRPM-002. It is of the titled RPM variety...

On Coneca's Master Listings 1915-D WRPM-002 was Reported by Eric Axtell in VF30... could that be the coin we are looking at?

Ok, Ok... Yes this is an RPM. And Yes, it IS listed by both NCADD/CONECA as
WRPM#3/ RPM#2A Coneca. The coin is Certified ICG VF30.
I tried to grab a pic of the REV through the slab, very mushy and hard to judge. James does not list the Rev, Only BJ has a listed OBV in the Coneca files.
I've looked for many years before I released this one to the clubs, found many (4) RPM#1's but to this day have only found this example. Its an EDS on the OBV so it may have disappeared quickly with wear. I'd LOVE to see a picture of the Good.....

I believe that is the case.

CONECA 1915-D RPM-002 cross references to NCADD 1915-D WRPM-003
