D/D West, with the mintmark more similar in appearance to the MDS on coppercoins.com. The lack of markers on the obverse and reverse is probably caused by good old-fashioned wear, so I did not see any reason to post full coin pictures.
This is the one coin worth mentioning from the entire bank box I just searched.
Thanks for checking this one,
Jean

Nice one Jean...it matches up really well with this one I just happened to be looking at today. Although I like your photo better.

Thanks everyone! It sure is nice to find one good coin in 2500... argh.
By the way, there were a lot more copper cents in this bank box than the last box.
A total of six wheat cents that were badly damaged, and four Canadian cents.

Great find Jean! I really like that one. Do you save copper cents?

Yes Mike, I do put aside all copper coins before the 1982 zinc cents were minted. I mentioned it because there was a thread some time ago about listing how many of each year and mint we find in the boxes we search.
Other than that, just the fact that the coins are worth more in metal value, I cannot say why I really do it.

At first I waited a long time to find this and finally bought one.
Since then I have found about a dozen or so probably 7 BU. I have yet to buy or find a really EDS though.
