Are you talking about BU rolls of lincoln cents? If so, those prices are quite high.

I never pay more than $2 for even original bank wrapped

I never pay more than $2 for even original bank wrapped of these dates and I'd be closer to $1 for hand wrapped or tubed and they must of course be all BU.

I haven't bought OBW BU rolls for a few years so I'm not sure what the market is like today, but the prices you are quoting are way higher than what was the going rate a a while back. Especially for those years. Just remember, There are tons of OBW rolls still out there for some of those years.

I have many (all?) of those years that I could sell you for around $2 a roll, depending on year.

Too high! I would pay around $2 for BU hand rolled. None of those are rare dates.

I agree with the general concensus here. Those prices are way too high

To further reply I bought 55 OBW rolls yesterday for $43.25

To further reply I bought 55 OBW rolls yesterday for $43.25.
                Dates were 1959 thru 1974 P&D with 7 - 68-S and 1- 69-S also included were 2-1966, 67 rolls.
Now granted I have been doing this for quite awhile and built up my reputation so all my dealers first bring me all rolls, but there is a sharp contrast to paying what you first suggested and .75 cents a roll.
Hang in there, pay some dues, get to know people and you will get better deals - always remember that 99.9% percent of all coins will come around again and again, there is no rush.

I want to thank everyone for their input...I sent a message with all of your responses (edited to protect the innocent) to the dealer and he replied that he would sell me the 46 rolls for $50.00 and that includes shipping.

If anyone has any contacts for BU rolls, I'd be interested. I'm always looking for 50's and 60's rolls. I've been finding some on eBay for $1.00 to $3.00, but locally, at coin shops or shows, they run from $7.50 to $20.00.

I recently got 1000 BU in two bags for $40 that turned out to be mostly 60's, and I was very happy with them. I just saw an eBay auction for 5000 BU "up to 1982" that's at $127 now, but I'm thinking there will be way too many 70's to make it worthwhile.

^^^^ Me too Carly. I am following you around! Let me put a spin on your post.

to anyone who reads this and wants to make a quick buck or two.....uhhhh.. lets limit at $200 - send me a list (email) of BU rolls, ideally uncirculated, that you want to get rid of. (the earlier the dates the better!) the best list, and maybe second best gets the order via paypal.

                          Thanks!
