    1957-d libiiierty

I looked through my Lincoln sets yesterday and found this on my 1957-D cent. What caused this, and does it have any value?

Nice BIE error. They are pretty common but some people collect them. Might be worth a few dollars but thats about it.

These are colorfully referred to as BIE cents as the die break between the B and E looks something like an I. They are pretty common on '50s Lincolns. Some people collect them - not sure about value - I think it depends on severity, condition and how common they are for that year...

Maybe someone else on speculate on prices on a '57D

It sure looks like a nice coin and example. There are some avid BIE collectors who would appreciate a nice bu example. I keep every BIE that I find.
