    What's up with the 68?

    Hello folks,

Can anybody shed some light for me why the MS67 1968-P & D, and 1969-P & D command such a high premiums?

Supply and demand. Some years the Mint just didn't produce good strikes and thus few get graded by TPGs over MS66 - collectors who can afford it, who want the highest grades, will pay more for these scarce high grade examples.

Thanks for asking that minty. I noticed the discrepancy and wondered why. Most of us cannot really see the difference between MS66 and MS67. It must take a lot of time to create a well trained eye for grading.
