Hi:
It's contest time again! The rules are to guess the conditions of 5 coins that i have sent to PCGS for grading. Example - you think that all 5 coins are VF20 - the total would be 5 x 20 = 100. If there is a tie - the first post wins.
The winning post/guess wins a 1988 (Reverse of 1989) Lincoln Cent.

I have a question about grading. If a coin has corrosion will it receive a grade?

Hi:
If it is bad or disrupts the look of the coin - pcgs will grade it as genuine - it would be equal to zero! I can say that none of the coins have corrosion.

147 is my guess.
It is my reasoning that the question is voting "20" is for the likelyhood that it is [at least] VF20. Hense, if the coin is better than 20, the higher the grade, the numeric figure for the vote would decrease; i.e., XF45 = 2, F 40 = 5, F 35 = 10... VF20 = 20, etc. Less than VF20 would not get a score.
The numbers taken from clouds, I didn't really put that much thought towards the vore, but towards the explanation for my numbers. Just trying to understand the scale fo the contest.

Minty the system is based on 70 point; 0-70. VF 20 is 20 points. MS 65 = 65 points. F12 = 12 G 08 = 8
