I can't believe we've been put under a winter storm warning in Florida!
It has just begun to rain here, with a little sleet in it now. The forecast is for snow by Friday morning with the high temps barely above freezing. They are forecasting 2-4 inches north of I-10, and maybe an inch or so on the coast. I would really love to see that.
I know it's nothing to you folks from north of here, but for us, it'll be like Christmas. I am wondering how many drivers around here will kill themselves trying to drive in it:LOL_Hair:

We are from southern Cal and sometime in the early 80's it snowed for a little while in the morning. My wife and kids had never seen snow fall before and were fascinated by the way it fell. They ran from room to room looking out the windows just amazed at the snow falling. Make sure you post pics of your snowman Bob.

So far this morning, we have heavy rain mixed with sleet. Last night, my daughter and grand daughter were outside watching the little ice crystals bouncing off everthing. My gand daughter tried to eat all she could get hold of. The snow should be here later this morning if it comes at all. I will definitely take some pics.

Good Luck and don't drive Bob.

We are supposed to get from 1-3" today and snow and sleet for the next 5 days.

I heard that on the news this morning Bob. It's so weird knowing Florida is getting snow and a warning at that. Enjoy watching your grandchildren play in it.
Our snow storm are over for now in Ohio. Drivers are dealing with ice packed snow. UGH!

Watch out for the crazies out there, Bob. Be cautious and watch out for that other vehicle sliding broadsided twoard you.

Well, the event is over, and unfortunately, we received no snow here, but some nice accumulations in some other areas around here. We had a lot of sleet at times, and it never got out of the mid 30's here all day. Average temps are about 65 degrees here this time of year. I think we missed that by just a litle bit.

I thought perhaps you may have gotten some snow Bob from looking at the weather channel, must have been close to you then. 3-4 inches here in Atlanta, it's wet and sitting heavy on the branches, freezing over tonight. Recipe for downed trees and power lines in this neck of the woods.

Glad to hear you didn't get snow accumulation, but if Florida got any accumulation then all fifty states have snow on the ground at the same time, a rare event indeed.
