I just got this and wanted to share this with the members.

$207,000 Cent
One of the best circulation finds ever, a 1943-S cent struck in the standard copper-based alloy, sold for $207,000 at the official Long Beach Expo auction by Heritage Auctions.

It says the owner kept it for decades - an amazing find for sure. Wonder when he or she found it?

Amazing and heartwarming. Thank you for getting us on to that Frank.

When I tell someone a penny I am showing them is worth a dollar or more, and some can be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars, they seem amazed. But, I get a sense they just do not believe me.

Does anyone know the POP report on '43 copper cents found? I think theres less than 5 known right?

ARLC 2 lists the following populations for '43 P, D & S bronze cents from TPGs with an unknown crossover number

ANACS 13
NGC 12
PCGS 5
